Founded in 2003, the National Center for Transgender Equality is a Washington-based social justice organization working to end discrimination and violence against transgender people.
In less than a year, we have made significant progress with allies, with the federal government, and in empowering transgender people to get involved at every level of the transgender movement.
We need your help to continue the fight for transgender equality in Washington and around the country.
Our movement needs everyone to participate and donate. Every donation, no matter what size, is welcome, honored, effective and needed.
We offer the following membership and donor levels. You can join or donate online or mail us your membership donation.

NCTE depends on our members to continue in the fight for trans equality. Our membership rates are as follows:
